“Make room for the ideas that move you forward. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh perspective.”
The planned workflow brings text capture, organization, and retrieval together, with the original post link kept alongside the words.
Start with a post URL from a supported platform.
Get clean, copyable text and save it with the original post link.
Give the post a folder, add tags, and search your collection by keywords or meaning.
A caption worth saving shouldn’t disappear into screenshots. Keep your posts organized and find the idea even when you forget the exact words.
Group posts in folders for a topic, project, or client. One primary folder keeps things simple.
Add several tags to a post so related ideas stay easy to find across folders.
Describe what you need in everyday language. Planned search combines keyword and semantic matching across captured text.
“A ten-minute routine you repeat can take you further than a perfect plan you never start.”
“Prepare your workspace tonight. Make tomorrow’s first useful action the easiest choice.”
Search is planned for text successfully captured from supported posts. Searching what’s spoken in a video would require separate transcript support.
Save hooks and captions in topic folders, tag useful ideas, and retrieve inspiration for your next post.
Organize posts by client or campaign and find relevant examples across your saved collection.
Keep captured text with its source link, group related posts, and search for themes across your notes.
Not yet. CaptionGrab is in development. This page shows the planned experience and collects interest. Join the waitlist for launch updates and early access news.
Instagram is planned as the first supported platform. X and YouTube are planned as beta. CaptionGrab is still in development, and support will depend on each platform’s access rules and technical limits. We’ll confirm supported content types before launch.
The current idea focuses on written text associated with social posts, such as post captions and descriptions. Spoken-video transcription is a separate capability we’re evaluating. Tell us what you need in the optional questions after signup.
Yes, that’s part of the planned product. We’re designing one primary folder per saved post, with multiple tags to connect related ideas across folders. These features are not live yet.
It will help you find saved posts by meaning as well as keywords. For example, searching for ‘building better daily habits’ could find text about routines and consistency, even if it doesn’t contain those exact words. Search is planned for captured text; video speech would require transcript support.
Capturing and copying captions will be free. We’re planning an optional Pro plan for people who build a big library: unlimited saves, search by meaning, and export. Pricing isn’t set yet, and we’ll share it before anyone is asked to pay.
We haven’t set a launch date yet. We’ll email the waitlist when there’s a meaningful update or an early-access invitation available.
We save your email to send CaptionGrab launch updates and early access news. You can optionally tell us your preferred platform, what text you want to capture, and what you would pay for Pro. Campaign tags on your signup link help us understand how people find CaptionGrab.
We use a random session ID in temporary browser storage to count visits and understand which campaigns lead to new signups. A new session starts after 30 minutes of inactivity. We don’t store IP addresses or use advertising pixels. Browser privacy signals can prevent counting.
Saving text doesn’t transfer ownership or permission. Respect the original creator’s rights, keep the source link, and get permission where needed before republishing.
